My House of Glass is a memoir, creative nonfiction style piece by Samantha Castro. It focuses on the background experience that shaped her first book, Wise by Nature, as well as elaborating on her complex familial relationships. MHOG is a story of awareness, resilience, and the power of community. It is expected to be released in 2029.
My House of Glass tells the story of Castro's father's journey with Parkinson's Disease as well as the complexities and intricacies of growing up in drug-fueled domestic abuse. The story raises awareness for an all-too-common scenario, as well as elaborating on the power of family and love within dark times.
